Terrain

Difficult Terrain (includes walls, buildings, water, etc.): No penalty for units with Airborne or Tideborne Trait. If unit passes through a difficult terrain, gain a stress token.

Cover Terrain: Provides Partial Cover. If fully behind, grants Full Cover.

Elevated Terrain: Grants an additonal R2 visibility over flat ground. Must climb as an action, or gain a stress token unless unit has the Airborne or Tideborn trait.

Relic Site: Objective or sacred point. May trigger factional abilities, win conditions or Aether effect. Each unit receives an Aether token when it is with R1 of a relic site.

Terrain Hit Points Table

When aiming for terrain. Roll a 1D3. Result is the tier your unit hits. Roll a D20. It hits on a 13 or higher. Roll a D6 and apply damage result.

Tier 1 = 5 Hit Points

Tier 2 = 7 Hit Points

Tier 3 = 10 Hit Points
